Parks and Recreation Department
Perry and parks go hand in hand. Boasting a total of nine city parks and two lakes, residents of Perry, as well as
visitors, have plenty of options for spending time communing with nature. Brimming with trees that provide plenty of
shade, the parks in Perry offer a variety of activities ranging from traditional playground equipment to disc golf
to a fully-fledged skate park.
Are you looking for a place to host a birthday party or family reunion? Many of the parks offer pavilions that can be reserved in advance
for a minimal charge. Some of the pavilions even include water, electricity, and charcoal grills for a complete outdoor party experience.
Do you need a place to do some camping? Lake Perry offers ten RV slips with electrical, water, and sewer hook-ups. You can also satisfy
your nature needs with primitive camping, as well as fishing and seasonal waterfowl hunting.
Are you looking for a quaint location for a wedding? Built in 1894, the Centennial Church at Perry Lake Park (CCC Lake) offers a unique and
stunning location for weddings. Offering electricity, water, and bathrooms, the Boathouse Pavilion, just down the hill
from the Centennial Church, offers a beautiful location for an outdoor wedding reception.
From picnics to weddings, playtime to workout time, Perry has a park that can meet your needs.
