The Perry City Council is a nine-member elected body comprised of eight ward representatives and the mayor.  Members of the council are elected to four year terms with Posts 1 and 2 being on alternating 2-year cycles.  In addition to their duties on the city council, council members also serve as board members for the Perry Municipal Authority as well as the Perry Carnegie Library.
